    Solar transformers, particularly step-up transformers, play a key role in grid-connected photovoltaic power generation systems. They are primarily used to boost the low-voltage AC power (0.4kV) output of the inverter to medium- and high-voltage (such as 11kV, 33kV, 110kV, and 220kV) levels, matching the grid voltage. This high-voltage connection enables long-distance transmission of electricity.
